Extracurricular hours and accompanying activities for students with disabilities

Extension of school hours, with particular reference to the possibility for families to reconcile personal time with work-related timeAnd attention to the needs of students with disabilities in order to guarantee full school inclusion. Confirming and implementing the actions developed over these years, the municipal administration of Cesena, through the Service School and Sportspublished on the institution’s website two notices addressed to interested third sector bodies.

In particular, the first public notice is related to the co-planning regarding “Extra-scholastic services: before-school, after-school, extended timetable and scholastic accompaniment for disabled students”. The activities covered by the procedure are configured as activities aimed at expanding the training offer, guaranteeing equal opportunities for access to study and promoting the scholastic inclusion of students in vulnerable situations. In detail, the types of activities covered by the co-planning are: before-school, after-school, extended hours with homework help, scholastic accompaniment for disabled pupils, to be carried out within the premises of the educational institutions involved. Third sector bodies in possession of the requirements established in the public notice can apply to participate Interested parties must submit the application for participation by 12:00 on Friday 10 May 2024.

The second public notice concerns the management of home-school-home accompaniment activities for pupils with disabilities and supervision and accompaniment of nursery school students on school transport. Social promotion associations and voluntary organizations interested in collaborating with the municipal administration in the creation and implementation of these interventions aimed at guaranteeing equal opportunities for access to study and promoting the scholastic inclusion of students with disabilities can apply. Interested parties must submit the application for participation no later than 12:00 on Friday 10 May 2024, attaching their Project proposal.
