The cold core which caused a lot of instability in much of Italy yesterday, is concentrating its effects this morning on the middle Adriatic and in the south. Here you are the reflectivity of the radar showing the precipitation taking place this morning in our country:
We find the worst weather again between Abruzzo, Molise and a large part of the southern peninsula. Is snowing on the Abruzzo and Molisano Apennines above 800-900 meters. Over the rest of Italy the dry northern currents have cleaned the sky, but have given rise to a rather cold night also accompanied by some frozen all the way down to the plain, especially in Piedmont.
What will happen today in Italy? Here is a map that summarizes the phenomena expected in our country until next midnight:
North sunnybut with increasing clouds over the Alps at the end of the day with some snowfall on the ridges. Good weather also in Tuscany, Umbria, Lazio and Sardinia. Very unstable weather on the other regions with showers, thunderstorms and snowfall in the Apennines above 800-1000 metres. During the day it will tend to lighten in Abruzzo and precipitation will be concentrated in the south. Strong winds from the north in the center and south, rotating in the afternoon to the south-west over Liguria. Seas almost all in condition not optimal apart from the northern basins.

Cold in the internal areas of the south where it will not exceed 10°. Values are recovering instead in the north and on the Tyrrhenian side; the maximum peak is expected in southern Sardinia with 22nd.
Tomorrow’s day, Saturday 20 Aprilwill still see an unstable climate on the eastern and southern slopes, but we will see it separately.
