To allow the execution of important works by the Apulian Aqueduct, the Technical Traffic Office, with its own ordinance, has established a parking ban with removal on some city streets starting from Monday 22 April. The works will concern Corso Vittorio Emanuele (intersections with via S.Samuele and Consalvo da Cordova) and Via Regina Margherita (intersections with via Bonaventura, Parrilli, Don Michele Tatò, MartiriXII Settembre, Vista, Francavilla, Dicuonzo, Boggiano, Palica, Scommegna ,Rods).

In practice the works concern the replacement of old trunks deteriorated by wear with new cast iron water pipes starting from the old hospital up to the first roundabout in the direction of Via Foggia. The ban on parking with removal is established from 00.00 to 24.00 on both sides of the road. “As always, I ask all citizens – declared Mayor Cannito – to have patience for the inevitable inconveniences they will have to face due to these works. For my part, I can assure you that we will be committed to ensuring that the works are completed as soon as possible and that city mobility returns to normal.”
