Viterbo – We receive and publish – Sunday 21st and 28th April, from 7am to 10.45am, the next appointments with the extraordinary roadside collection of bulky waste at Riello, within the municipal area (former extraordinary collection point for bulky waste), with access from via Alessandro Volta and exit on the western ring road (opposite the Cotral terminal).

As usual, some important information is reiterated: it is also possible to deliver paper and cardboard. Specifically, tetrapaks and polylaminates in general (milk packaging, fruit juice, etc.), magazines, newspapers, books, notebooks, flyers, sheets of paper in general, boxes and cardboard and cardboard wrapping for foods such as those will be accepted. of pasta, rice, tuna, toothpaste, biscuit bags, etc., various cartons and boxes, such as those for shoes, detergents, toys, etc., cardboard trays, pizza boxes, paper tablecloths. Paper should not be placed inside plastic bags. Receipts (undifferentiated waste), dirty paper (undifferentiated waste), baking paper (undifferentiated waste), absorbent paper (organic waste) will not be accepted. The boxes must be folded.

As regards all other waste, some important information is reiterated: it will be possible to dispose of small household appliances (R4), i.e. mobile phones, hair straighteners, hairdryers, printers, heaters, vacuum cleaners, faxes, chandeliers, keyboards and PCs, calculators, fans. Printers and faxes must arrive without ink and toner cartridges. Fluorescent and neon tubes also accepted. Bulky items that can be sent to TMB are allowed (armchairs, sofas, umbrellas, plastic garden furniture, carpets, deckchairs, suitcases, mattresses, cushions, plastic products and wardrobes, toys, curtains), wood, iron, grass clippings and domestic prunings. As regards the latter type, i.e. domestic mowing and pruning, it is specified and reiterated that the service is aimed at domestic users only and a maximum of six bags per user will be accepted.

The following waste will also be accepted: washing machines, dishwashers, water heaters, built-in ovens, hobs, dryers.
The following will not be accepted: WEEE, i.e. waste from electrical and electronic equipment (except the R4 small appliances mentioned above, washing machines, dishwashers, built-in ovens, hobs, water heaters, dryers). Please note that following the recent update of the current legislation, tablets, notebooks and liquid crystal LED frames are added to the WEEE that cannot be accepted.

Unsorted waste, residual dry waste, organic waste, packaging of any kind (except cardboard, which can instead be returned), batteries, paint, mirrors, inert waste, sanitary ware, bathroom furniture, medical-surgical devices, will not be accepted. medicines, light bulbs, pressure cylinders, parts of motor vehicles and boats, doors, windows, shutters and shutters, nappies and nappies, tyres, mineral and vegetable oils, construction and renovation waste (sheaths, insulation, PVC pipes), fiberglass materials, mulching sheets, flammable liquids, toner, used clothes, slaughterhouse, bakery and fishmonger waste, processing waste from artisans, traders, etc.

Please note again that refrigerators, freezers and air conditioners, TVs and monitors will not be accepted. Personal protective equipment will not be accepted. Unsorted waste, i.e. small objects in bags, will not be accepted. The attention of users is also drawn to the time of deliveries: the Viterbo Ambiente staff will guarantee access to the station until 10.45am or until a wooden box, a container of ferrous waste, a container of clippings and two boxes of bulky waste (armchairs, sofas, umbrellas, plastic garden furniture, carpets, deckchairs, suitcases, mattresses, cushions, plastic products and wardrobes, toys, curtains).

It is reiterated that it will be possible to provide a maximum of THREE pieces per user, or per vehicle. It is not possible to accumulate multiple users in the same car and make multiple trips with the same vehicle. Wardrobes and other wooden furniture must be delivered already dismantled and reduced in volume before accessing the collection point. The service is reserved exclusively for users of the municipality of Viterbo. The Viterbo Ambiente personnel responsible for monitoring the waste remains entitled to reject types of waste that are not permitted, and any requests for disposal once the usability of the above-mentioned drive-through bins has been exhausted. Access to the delivery by third-party transporters is prohibited.
