WEDGE NEWS – You are curious? Are you crazy about the stars? Have planets and galaxies always fascinated you? Don’t miss the event April 22, when the Cerialdo Planetarium (via S. Pio X, 11) will be exceptionally opened. In this “space adventure” the students of the “Pellico-Peano” Scientific High School in Cuneo will guide the participants to become familiar with the stars. The activity – which will be held from 6pm to 8pm – is free and open to all (places are limited, registration is required).

The event was organized by the Cerialdo meeting center in collaboration with the “Pellico-Peano” high school as part of the “Actively Elderly” project, whose recipients are people over 65, who through a path of active citizenship have taken on the role of promoters of initiatives in the area of residence. “In particular – explain the organizers -, at the basis of the project, there is the idea that young people and elderly people feel good together and are assets for each other; with the opening of the Planetarium we therefore want to offer an opportunity to breathe solidarity, mutuality, a sense of social belonging and to rediscover intergenerational bonds”.

The “Actively Elderly” project is promoted by the Municipality of Cuneo, in collaboration with the “Emmanuele” Social Cooperative, the “Eclectica+” social enterprise, the Cuneo Social Welfare Consortium, the “LiberaVoce” Association and Unitre. Participation is free. For information and reservations, call 388.8590367 (Cristina Abello, educator).
