On the occasion of the seventieth anniversary of its foundation, the Busto Arsizio Host Lions Club, with the patronage of the municipal administration, is organizing the tenth edition of the vintage car rally on Sunday 21 April, organized by the GAMS Club (Gallarate Auto Moto Storiche).
Citizens will be able to admire the cars both at the start of the route, scheduled for 9am from the courtyard of the municipal building, and upon arrival in Piazza San Giovanni from 11.30am, where the awards ceremony is scheduled.
The rally includes tests of skill and regularity which will take place in Piazzale Bersaglieri and in the industrial area of Sacconago and a route of around eighty kilometers also on stretches of road in the open countryside which will cross some municipalities in the area.
There will be musical accompaniment by the Pro Busto musical group. The event, supported by Paglini Store, aims to raise funds for the Club’s services, among the first in Italy both in terms of longevity and activities carried out.
There will be more than 40 cars involved, the oldest an English racing car from 1930.

8.30 am – MEETING – in the internal courtyard of the municipality of Busto Arsizio – 9.00 am – DEPARTURE – skills tests market square via Piemonte, Busto Arsizio – industrial area via Tosi – Viale dell’Industria – Vizzola Ticino.
Followed by a sightseeing tour passing through Bienate – Magnago – Samarate – Ferno – Lonate P. – Vizzola Ticino – Nosate – Turbigo – Galliate – (visit to the Varallino Sanctuary).
Return to Busto Arsizio. 11.30 am – MEETING in Piazza San Giovanni with car display.
