The first appointment on the calendar is next Friday 19 April at Villa Gianetti in Saronno. Between 18 and 20 local entrepreneurs and higher education foundations will present to the students of the last two years of high school and their parents the specialization offer that the entrepreneurial fabric requires.
A manager from Leonardo spa, one from Tenova spa, a representative of the Missoni fashion house as well as the entrepreneur from Blend IT srl and Giorgio Binda from the national council of Confapi will be available to the children to answer questions and curiosities, present the context to them working of our province and focus attention on a ptraining course parallel and alternative to the academic one which, at the moment, guarantees job opportunities in 80% of cases.
To present the Saronno event, which will be repeated in Varese on May 13th at the Salone Estense, there was the provincial councilor with responsibility for Education Lauricella, the person responsible for training and orientation of the Chamber of Commerce, Dr Mazarinthe director of the Varese school office Giuseppe Carcano in addition to the presidents of two Foundations operating in the province of Varese: Angelo Candiani President of the Mobility Foundation, Pierangelo Reguzzoni president of the Its Red Foundation to which is added the latest foundation born in the province which is based at Itis Riva in Saronno and is dedicated to mechatronics.
Candiani underlined the high quality of a training offer built in agreement and with the collaboration of the business world: «Since the last report on monitoring results, 67% of the courses in Italy were in the reward range. In Lombardy we reach 70%. Of the 5 courses offered in my foundation, all reached the highest level of quality. We operate in an industry where there is very little skilled alternative in training specialists in aircraft construction and maintenance. Now we have also started a course related to logistics and cargo in the railway sector given the two important poles we have.”
Today, Its routes suffer from two weak points: the lack of attention on the part of high school students (only to arrive a couple of years after graduating after having unsuccessfully experimented with other paths) and on the part of girls who are not yet numerous in a world which, objectively, sees a male prevalence even in schools. « Its Red offers different paths that also embrace design and sustainability – explains Reguzzoni – the attention of female students is growing also because here they find answers close to their ideals and dreams».
In the two hour meeting there is soon a light moment, an aperitif where you can chat with entrepreneurs and workers. An unconventional way of presenting an offer that the Chamber of Commerce and the inter-institutional discussion table promote because it is effective in reducing that mismatch between job supply and demand that is often complained about.
