Free Training for Sustainable Cultural Events in Rimini”. Alessandria today

Rimini, 17 April 2024 – Ecoarea Srl Società Benefit in collaboration with prestigious cultural institutions launches the “Spring School for Sustainability Managers”, a free training course focused on sustainable events and festivals. It is part of the vision of the PRIMA VERA project, dedicated to the promotion of sustainability in the cultural field, and is held from 13 to 22 May at the Ecoarea of ​​Rimini, a virtuous model of green building and management of low carbon events.

Thanks to the support of the PNRR call for the Ecological Transition of Cultural and Creative Organisms financed by the European Union – Next Generation EU, the Spring School is at the forefront of environmental education. The course is aimed at cultural event organizers and sector operators, both employees and freelancers, with the aim of raising awareness and effectiveness of sustainability practices in the events industry.

The panel of experts includes key figures in the field of sustainability such as Marco Affronte, Enrico Anghileri, Daniele Di Stefano, and other professionals who will bring their experience and expertise to the participants. The topics will range from the ecological transition to the circular economy, from the fight against greenwashing to the calculation of the carbon footprint of events.

Registration for Spring School is still open and places are limited to 30 participants. The training offer also includes travel and accommodation costs for participants, thus ensuring fair and inclusive access. Applications can be submitted until April 21st via the link provided.
