GROSSETO – 25 thousand euros of financing for the 5 projects from the Grosseto area winners of the “Siete presente. With young people to restart”, created by Cesvot and financed by the Tuscany-Giovanisì Region in agreement with the Department for Youth Policies and Universal Civil Servicewith the contribution of 11 banking foundations in Tuscany.
The announcement “You are present. With young people to restart” aims to promote and qualify the role of young people in Tuscan associations, give strength and role to a new generation so that it is capable of renewing the proposal of the Third sector, its ability to be rooted in the territory as well as facilitating the generational change within organizations.
“Young people are a resource for volunteering and the world of volunteering is an opportunity for young people: the Siete Presente call therefore presents itself as an asset for everyone. The projects that are rewarded and supported offer new ideas and innovative ideas for the Third Sector and have positive repercussions for the entire community” he states Luigi Paccosi, president of Cesvot. “Participation in the tender confirms that Tuscany is a lively associative fabric, capable of involving the new generations and therefore of renewing its proposal, its ability to be rooted in the territory, while at the same time facilitating generational turnover within the associations” .
“Giovanisì wants to promote and enhance the role of young people in our society, from every point of view, providing the tools to realize their ideas, their aspirations, their talents. The Siete Presente call brings young people and the world of associations closer, providing growth and qualification paths for young people already involved in organizations and encouraging the active involvement of other young people” he states Bernard Dika, spokesperson for the president of the Tuscany Region. “Young people become protagonists of change, they are not spectators”.
“Generational change and the involvement of young people in the Third Sector – he states Carlo Vellutini, Board of Directors of the CR Firenze Foundation – is a fundamental challenge to guarantee lifeblood to the many associations that today operate at the service of our communities. This call encourages creativity and the grounding of innovative initiatives that we are happy to support. I thank the many who worked on these projects which are certainly an important starting point for the renewal of the solidarity fabric of the territories”.

“Young people and adults together in community service for health promotion”, leading body Acat Grosseto Nord Odv, proposing group body Associazione Oasi Grosseto Odv, partner Acat Follonica, Prison, Isis Leopoldo II di Lorena Institute, Parish of the Immaculate Conception. The project obtained funding of 5,000 euros.
“Sweet Tradition: Young people promoting local products”, leading body Italian Women’s Center CIF Comunale Di Massa M.Ma Odv, proposing group bodies Massa Marittima Follonica Odv Hospital Volunteers Association, partner Pro Loco Association of Massa Marittima Aps, Centro Studi Storici Agapito Gabrielli Odv, Municipality of Massa Marittima, Istituto Superiore Bernardino Lotti, La Torre Massetana, Massa Marittima Multiservizi Srl, Parish of San Pietro All’Orto, Slow Food Monteregio Aps, Società dei Terzieri Massetani Aps. The project obtained funding of 5,000 euros.
“Re-Generation Z”, lead body L’Altra Città Nel Mondo Odv, group body proposing Solidarity Center of Grosseto Odv, partner Foundation L’Altra Città, Istituto Superiore Polo Tecnologico Manetti – Porciatti, Solidarietà e Crescita – Società Cooperativa Sociale. The project obtained funding of 5,000 euros.
“Youth editorial team”lead body M.Arte Aps, proposing group body Cantiere Cultura Aps, partner Legambiente Festambiente Aps, Telemaremma Srl. The project obtained funding of 5,000 euros.
“Resistance Chronicles”, leading body Arci Consiglio Territoriale Grosseto Aps, proposing group body Circolo Arci Civitella Aps, partner Associazione Sette Colli Pari, Municipality of Civitella Paganico, Kansassiti Aps, Pro Loco Casale Casenovole Aps, Pro Loco of Civitella Marittima Aps, Pro Loco of Paganico Aps, Ucca Aps. The project obtained funding of 5,000 euros.
