Olbia. Yesterday, AVIS Olbia set a new absolute record for donations with an extraordinary collection of over 50 bags of bloodthanks to the generosity shown in the schools in the area.
The impressive success of this initiative was made possible thanks to the extraordinary collaboration between the schools, the Transfusion Center (CT) and AVIS Olbia, demonstrating once again that it is the concrete actions of individuals that make the difference in social organizations. Throughout the morning, the atmosphere was pervaded by smiles and conviviality, while team work produced exceptional results.
Despite the fatigue, everyone was able to benefit from the positive energy released by the beauty of the time spent together for such a noble cause. We read in a note from Avis Olbia: “The credit for this extraordinary day goes to Dr. Daniele Floris, who masterfully guided the staff of the Provincial AVIS, and to the head physician Marco Cocco, who coordinated the collection at the CT, together to all the healthcare staff involved. These are the days in which you are aware that you are truly useful and that you have not wasted your time”.
