4 events, 10 thematic areas, 9 pavilions, a single entrance ticket. This, in a nutshell, is the exhibition offer of the 58th edition of the Amateur Radio Fair – Tech Expo scheduled at the Pordenone Fair on 20 and 21 April 2024. With its over 200 total exhibitors and the large public expected from all over North-East Italy and from Slovenia and Croatia, this is the leading event in Italy in the consumer electronics and low-cost IT sector, as well as a meeting point for all those who live the “digital passion”. Four events at the same time further enrich the exhibition offer included in the single ticket to the Amateur Radio Fair which can be purchased online (www.radioamatorepordenone.it) at the promotional price of €8.50 (until 11.59pm on Friday 19 April) or directly at the fair and always online on the days of the event at the full price of €10. The events that enrich Radioamatore’s exhibition offer are: Fotomercato, exhibition of exchange of antiques, modern antiques and digital photography at pav. 8, Nordest Colleziona-Uniformexpo market exhibition of military collectibles, philately and numismatics at pav. 8 and 9 and the second edition of Northern Adriatic Vintage Motors, a review of historic means of transport and accessories which opens on Friday 19 April and occupies pavilions 1, 2, 3 and 4 of the exhibition center and in the external areas which will host themed gatherings. The protagonists will be historic cars and motorbikes but the event is also open to boats, planes and all motor vehicles. Over 12,000 m2 of exhibition spaces are dedicated to commercial stands of salons, dealers of vintage, vintage and youngtimer cars and motorbikes while the 3,000 m2 unfolds market of private individuals and traders who sell vehicles, spare parts and accessories of all kinds for cars and motorbikes. Alto Adriatico Motori d’Epoca is a highly anticipated fair in the sector as an opportunity to admire a vast range of motor vehicles, including military ones, purchase accessories, spare parts and components for historic and vintage means of transport, meet with specialized mechanics and main Historic Car Clubs, meet to exchange information, discover new services and share restoration experiences.

Always a point of reference in a continuously evolving sector but also a fundamental stage for vintage shopping, Fiera del Radioamatore dedicates an important program of events to all the latest innovations in the IT sector but also offers space to the second-hand market and unobtainable spare parts for electronic DIY. The appointment with the various Italian and foreign groups is always repeated in pavilion 5 of the Italian Amateur Radio Association and with the Linux Arena, an open space to offer the public the best technologies present in the free software panorama in Italy and around the world. Also in pavilion 5 are the makers, modern craftsmen capable of engineering creations. Through the use of 3D printers and scanners with the three-dimensional modeling technique, they concretely develop the digital project into a finished object by creating electronic and robotic equipment. From the future to the past, the underlying theme of this event, and here the fair becomes an exchange exhibition in the padds. 7 and 8 where the Amateur Radio and Vintage Hi-Fi Market: an opportunity for discussion between radio amateurs, collectors and enthusiasts who have decided to share their passion for old radios, gramophones and hi-fis of every era and style, and used amateur radio equipment, with the visitors of the Amateur Radio Fair. The market unfolds in pavilions 5, 6, 7: labyrinth of over 3 and a half km of exhibition stands where it is possible to find everything: components and pieces

spare parts, including used ones, from the “analog” era, equipment for amateur radio, PCs, printers, screens, new and used, but also computer components to satisfy the desires of the hobbyist assembler, latest generation mobile phones, software and video games, external memories USB sticks, headphones, music speakers; all at the lowest prices on the market.

For the first time organized directly by Pordenone Fiere, Photomarket exchange exhibition of antiques, modern antiques and digital photography is held in pavilion 8. On display there will be vintage and modern materials and equipment, second-hand bargains for both analogue and digital photography from the 24×36 format to 8×10″ optical benches, filters, lenses and accessories of all types and brands and a vast display of Polaroids from the 1000 to the prestigious SLR 680 and 690 curated by Domenico Florio. Enthusiasts or professional photographers will also be able to purchase accessories for the darkroom and studio, art books by great photographers and manuals. Among the most valuable pieces on display there will be two large format foldings: a 50×60 Lamperti and Garbagnati Milano camera dated (1905/1915) and a Kodak 2D 8×10 from the 1940s with red bellows. There will also be flash demonstrations with magnesium powder and portraits will be taken with delivery of the copy developed in the camera.

At the same time as the Amateur Radio Fair, inside pavilion 8 visitors will find the now traditional appointment with Northeast Collect – Uniformexpo the market exhibitions dedicated to collecting: philately, numismatics, militaria and model making. There are over 50 exhibitors from many Italian regions who present their best pieces of military objects, modelling, wargaming, philately, numismatics, postcards, figurines, books, prints, posters and various collectibles at the fair. There are stands with vehicles, material and personnel ready to give demonstrations and information on the activities carried out by the following bodies of the Italian armed forces: Air Force, Carabinieri, Army 132nd Armored Brigade “Ariete”, V Rigel Army Aviation Regiment, Guardia di Finanza, State Police. Among the planned initiatives: at 11.00 on Sunday 21/04 there will be a demonstration by the canine unit of the Guardia di Finanza, external area pad. 8.Ample space is dedicated to military collecting and historical memorabilia with the usual presence of institutional stands of various army corps, weapons associations, philatelic associations, modeling associations, re-enactors. Nordest Colleziona Uniformexpo is a journey into history that comes to life through the objects on display, a fatal attraction for collectors and the curious. In the stands of the Armed Forces Associations participating in the event, mannequins, equipment, uniforms and historical material tell the history of our country through the words of the staff at the fair who are available to give all the information to the public. There are also historical groups of Reenactors who aim to reconstruct certain moments in history through period uniforms or costumes, vehicles, weapons and live demonstrations.
