With the first meeting of the technical table which includes over 100 experts and chaired by the regional councilor for university, research and innovation, the ambitious path on artificial intelligence desired by the regional council to create the system conditions to grasp the opportunities offered by this “technological train”. «We do it without fear, but with a great sense of responsibility – explained councilor Alessandro Fermi – immediately putting 30 million euros on the table. Ours is a territory that has innovation in its DNA and we know that we are already immersed in an era of transition and transformation, which brings with it unprecedented challenges.”
In Brescia
Meanwhile, in Brescia Confapi moves from words to deeds and opens the door to generative artificial intelligence thanks to the organization’s first territorial agreement with Microsoft Italy. In fact, the news of the subscription in the city headquarters in via Lippi del came from these hours «memorandum of understanding» which formalizes the collaboration between the two entities for the dissemination and support of companies in the implementation of generative AI in business processes.
The memorandum of understanding, which represents the first agreement in Italy between Microsoft and Confapi, provides for multiple levels of cooperation, starting with the opening of a direct channel through which companies can access dedicated Microsoft information and resources.
The point
The mailbox was identified for the occasion [email protected] to which companies can transfer any question or need on the topic, finding Microsoft to respond directly. But that is not all.
This touch point also represents a tool for accessing the project AI Lab (Learn Adopt Benefit) by Microsoft, through which companies themselves can start testing generative AI in their organization and identify adoption scenarios.

It couldn’t be missed training: in the second half of May and the first half of June (17, 21 and 28 May and 4 June 2024, from 9 to 11) training days will be held, free and open to all but with pre-emption for members, managed directly by professionals from Microsoft Italy and during which informative video clips will be made available which will contribute to building a shared awareness of the advantages and opportunities contained in the application of new technology to processes.
Furthermore, the partnership will allow companies in the IT and innovative technology sectors to come into direct contact with the excellent expertise of the American company: Unimatica Confapi Brescia will in fact support two strategic visitson May 22nd in the Milan headquarters of Microsoft Italy and in September in the Redmond headquarters, in the state of Washington.
