«Once again the municipality squanders public money. From the negotiated procedure for the assignment of the management service of the paid parking areas, it emerges in point 1.2.6 of article 1 that the clearing and weeding of the parking areas is the responsibility of the company that obtained the management contract. Consequently, why waste public money to be used, for example, to make improvements to other even peripheral areas that require maintenance?”
This is what the municipal councilor of the Nel Modo Giusto group, Giorgia Preziosa, asks for.
«I understand – he continues – that the Mayor together with the Councilor for Maintenance is currently cleaning up the parking areas near the coast road and I wonder what sense it makes, given that this service, at least for the parking areas, is the responsibility of the winning company of the race? Already with the failure to manage the parking service, the municipal coffers have suffered a substantial loss for a period of time that initially should have been very short, then we think well of carrying out a service that is not the responsibility of the municipality”.
