“The healthcare system in the Marche region is in chaos”

04/16/2024 – «The Marche healthcare system is in chaos. Saltamartini and his tutors resign.” Mayor Matteo Ricci is pressing on healthcare, after the resignation of the health director of Ast.

«After Dr. Storti, Berselli resigns. It is yet another demonstration of a healthcare reform that dismantles and builds nothing, becoming inapplicable. The situation has become unsustainable: waiting lists and passive mobility are continually increasing, there is a lack of staff, there is confusion about everything and non-existent political guidance.”

And he continues: «The only ones who should resign are the health councilor Saltamartini and the two tutors who supported him, the undersecretary for health Aldo Salvi and the health construction councilor Francesco Baldelli. Let them take a step back for the good of healthcare in the Marche region, which we must save.”

And then the president Francesco Acquaroli, «If there is one strike. We need a strong mobilization to save healthcare, because after almost four years of regional government, the decline towards which it is now objective is now objective”, he concludes.
