PAVIA – This morning, 16 April 2024, i Soldiers of the Mobile Unit of the Financial Police Group of Pavia they executed one application order of the precautionary measure of prohibition from carrying out any activity issued by the Court of Pavia in Collegial Composition.
The measure was taken after the sentence that accepted the accusatory system and which then led to its recognition guilt of the President pro tempore of the Unicum Cooperativa sociale onlus, of other members of the Board of Directors and even some members of the organization. They all joined together illicitly, giving rise to an indeterminate number of episodes of false declarations with attestations in documents intended for the judicial authorities ex art. 374-bis of the Criminal Code, crimes committed against various Courts and Surveillance Offices and also the ordinary Judicial Authority.
The sentence recognized the guilty and for this reason sentenced to sentences ranging from 1 year to 10 months of imprisonment and 3 years to 4 months of imprisonment. Through the illicit activity carried out by the organisation, also favored by the intervention of various compliant collaborators, for almost two years numerous subjectsbased on the ruling, they have unduly taken advantage of the replacement of the precautionary prison measures applied to them or the application of alternative measures to detention, finding accommodation in structures that certified re-education and welfare programs that never actually took place. The investigation, which proved to be particularly demanding and which had lasted for over a year, was characterized by numerous documentary acquisitions, the execution of local searches and several demanding months of telephone and environmental interception, all investigative activities carefully carried out by the Mobile Unit of the Guardia di Finanza Group of Pavia, thus leading to the important result certified by the local Court. The results of the process were communicated to all the Courts and Supervisory Offices of Lombardy in order to allow these Authorities to revoke any benefit previously granted.
