The current yellow weather alert due to hydrogeological risk and thunderstorms extends until 8pm tomorrow

The yellow weather alert, in effect since 12pm, due to hydrogeological and hydrogeological risk due to thunderstorms, has been extended from midnight and for the following 20 hours.

The new alert, issued today by the regional civil protection, extends to the whole of Puglia and reports which event is expected “scattered precipitation, including showers or thunderstorms, with light to moderate quantities”. The weather bulletin is completed by the forecast of generally significant decreases in temperatures, locally marked maximum values, and strong north-westerly winds.

The Municipal Operations Center (COC) will continue to monitor weather conditions at a local level, ready to intervene promptly if necessary.
