Caltanissetta – The renovation of the Nissena healthcare system continues with a view to improving services for users. The ASP of Caltanissetta has assigned the tasks to the Freely Chosen Pediatric Doctors to carry out the service at the Pediatric First Intervention Point (PPIP) active at the “Vittorio Emanuele” Hospital in Gela on the first floor next to the Health Directorate.
The Pediatric First Intervention Point (PPIP) is a structure that guarantees outpatient care for “low complexity” pathologies, i.e. for the so-called white codes, and is aimed at the pediatric population segment, i.e. children and young people from 0 to 14 years old of age or up to 16 years if still assisted by a pediatrician of free choice.
They will be open every day before holidays and holidays from 10:00 to 20:00 when the pediatricians’ offices are closed and you can access them directly without any type of prescription.
