When the Prime Minister of the PD, Giovanni Vurchio, thundered in the classroom and on social media: Andria asks for respect! I asked myself: but precisely who is he asking? To their president Emiliano? To their councilor Palese? To their majority that governs the Puglia Region? Absurd!

As a parliamentarian, all my political interest is constant and daily. The Meloni Government, through the Undersecretary for Health, Marcello Gemmatonot only guaranteed the initial sum that the Region had lost by not presenting the final project, but added further appropriations until reaching a figure that far exceeds 200 million euros to give the area a large second level hospital … which I hope does not remain only on paper, while the substantial funding is diverted elsewhere, because it is lost for the second time”.
