Stormy winds arriving in Calabria: yellow alert issued

The Civil Protection of the Calabria Region has issued a yellow alert for bad weather tomorrow. The Bulletin indicates critical marine-coastal weather issues: strong north-westerly winds to strong storms are expected with storm surges along the coasts. Already today a disturbance from the South has reached up Calabria bringing scattered bad weather with rain almost everywhere and temperatures generally dropping. Thermometer which will undergo a clear collapse from today’s evening/night but above all from tomorrow Wednesday 17 April when cold maritime polar air will reach Calabria causing a strong drop in temperatures of around 12-13°C and strong west winds, with gusts that may locally exceed 100 km/h.
