“Women in Uniform” on April 19th at Palazzo della Marra in Barletta

The Italian Women Jurists Association Sec. of Trani, with the patronage of the Municipality of Barletta, on April 19that Palazzo della Marra, will meet the Women in Uniform.
For true gender equality there must no longer be places or professional activities where women are not allowed to access and have the same career as their male colleagues.
One of the most resistant places were and perhaps for certain sectors still are those where uniforms are worn. Not all of them, if you consider that the first woman in the State Police joined Rosa Scafa in 1952. She was the first female police officer in Trieste.
But we had to wait for law 380 of 1999 for complete access to all the others. Even today there are sectors, so-called operational, where the female gender has little access.
The lawyer will discuss this and their experience.
