An objective achieved even earlier than in previous years which saw all the forces of the majority working in synergy, with a direct and specific contribution from our councillors”. Thus the components of civic lists in commenting on the recent approval of Single Programming Document in the city council in Reggio Calabria.
“From this point of view we can only highlight – the councilors underline – the study and comparison activity carried out, in a valuable manner, in the work of the commissions. In particular by the First Budget Commission, chaired by councilor Pino Cuzzocrea. Not to mention the positive effects produced by the document which, according to the mandate lines of the mayor Falcomatà, aim at a general streamlining of administrative activity, aimed at providing more timely responses to citizens. The new programming brings the Administration even closer to families, especially the most fragile ones. Let’s think about the 24 million euros that will be directed towards essential services, or the other funds that will be used for road maintenance and further funding for schools”.
“The Falcomatà Administration has managed to maintain a commitment made last year that the Dup itself and the budget forecast take photographs: in fact, we proceeded tohiring of 135 new work units, to which another 20 are added, for which the selection procedures are underway, which will be able to assist the administrative machine to achieve the programmatic objectives more quickly and to respond to the needs of users. Added to them are the workers finally stabilized after years of waiting, for an activity that aims at stable and quality public work, a true trademark of the administration led by Mayor Falcomatà. Finally we want to remember the step forward relating to reduction of the indicators of the average payment delay from 50 to 37 days, a very important sign that highlights a clear advancement in the administrative efficiency of our public administration in its relationship with companies and suppliers”.
“We are sure – the councilors close – that the path taken is the right one. A path that will see a new and further objective achieved with the approval of the budget forecast well in advance of the times foreseen in previous years and which will continue along the lines traced by the guidelines of the mayor and our majority, increasingly protagonists of the process of change desired by citizens”.
