L’AQUILA – “History and activities of the Gran Sasso Science Institute (GSSI)”.
This is the title of the event which will be held on the occasion of the National Day of Made in Italy on Friday 19 April, from 10.30 to 13.30, in the GSSI Auditorium in via Michele Iacobucci in L’Aquila, organized in collaboration with the Ministry of Business and Made in Italy and the 2009 Earthquake Mission Structure of the Presidency of the Council of Ministers.
The session will be opened by institutional greetings from Marco Marsilio, president of the Abruzzo Region, and of Pierluigi Biondi, mayor of L’Aquila. They will intervene Nicola Guglielmi, deputy vice-rector of the GSSI; Ezio Previtali, director of the Gran Sasso National Laboratories; Roberto Aloisioprofessor and director of the Physics area of the GSSI; Massimo CompariniCEO of Thales Alenia Space e Marica Branchesi, astrophysicist and professor at GSSI. The event will conclude with the councillor’s reflections Mario Fiorentino, coordinator of the 2009 Earthquake Mission Structure.
