Pierret’s (almost) Giallorossi golden moment

The (not many) hopes of salvation in Ligue 2 of Quevilly-Rouen they are also linked to the substance of Balthazar Pierret, Lecce’s next reinforcement given the contract expires on 30 June 2024. The team coached by Jean-Luis Garcia beat leaders Auxerre on the last day, now leaning towards Ligue 1, reaching -6 from the safety zone with 6 games to be played before the end of the tournament. Quevilly-Rouen is second to last at 32, while Dunkerque at 38 in the first useful position, sixteenth place.

The happy notes, however, come from the scoring performance of Balthazar Pierret, central midfielder. The temporary 2-2 scored against Auxerre attests to the best season in terms of scoring, with 4 goals in total, and the magic moment. Quevilly-Rouen’s search for success (1 defeat in the last 8) also passes through the insertions by Pierret. In addition to the goal in the last match (32nd round), Pierret scored in the 29th round (1-1 draw at home with Troyes) and in the 30th round (defeat at home to Caen). The “speck”, synonymous with the player’s competitive spirit, are also the three yellow cards in the last four, which bring the total count to 8.

Pierret (23 years old) and Lecce, albeit in different categories and with different starting conditions, are pursuing the goal of salvation. Once the seasons have been archived, the destinies will unite.
