The regional final of the student sports chess championships in Cerignola – Pugliapress

For the first time in the province of Foggia and in Cerignola the Student chess sports championships. The event, strongly supported by President of the ASD Cerignola Scacchi, Luigi Ciavarrawill take place on April 20th from 9.45am to 4.00pmat the PalaTatarella.

The. contributed to the realization and organization of this prestigious initiative Municipality of CerignolaThe Scientific High School “A. Einstein”, the various chess clubs of the province and beyond.

To the PalaTatarella they will compete overall 102 teams (qualified schools), divided respectively into Primary, Lower Secondary, Students, Juniors. Each category is divided into mixed female and male.

The school representatives are made up of 4 players plus 2 possible reserves. An attendance of around 500/600 players under 18 is expected.

The city of Cerignola will be represented by the schools: Primary (Marconi and 5th Circolo), 1st grade Secondary (Pavoncelli and Padre Pio), and three teams from the “Einstein” Scientific High School.

Chess is now establishing itself in all schools, it is part of them and will be so in the future too, as it is a useful tool for the growth of every child.
