LECCE – Lecce is preparing to end 2025 with a program of musical events that will transform Piazza Sant’Oronzo into the center of celebrations for the new year. The evenings of 30 and 31 December represent the key moments of the LeccèFesta 2026 calendar (active from 18 December to 6 January), forming part of the regional initiative Capodanni di Puglia.
The initiative is the result of a cooperation agreement between the Municipality of Lecce and the regional tourism agency Pugliapromozione. The shared objective is the consolidation of the Puglia brand as a cultural and tourist destination even during the winter season, focusing on the deseasonalization of flows.
The evening program
The musical schedule has been structured to offer heterogeneous artistic proposals, capable of involving different segments of the public.
The Pop Out Festival will take place on 30 December, an evening dedicated to contemporary languages and new generations. The young local talents of the project will take turns on stage Junior High Schoolfollowed by Ascanio’s live performance. The main guest of the evening will be Mida, a prominent figure on the new Italian pop scene.
On New Year’s Eve, however, the end-of-year concert will focus on the intertwining of Mediterranean roots and international rhythms. The Divorce Lawyers and the Crifiu will take turns (with the stage of their Community Tour), and then reaches the culminating moment with the live performance of Roy Paci and Aretuska, who will accompany the square until the midnight toast.
In both cases, these are free events.
Synergy between institutions
