Wild Moss, Fedez’s joke about Emanuela Orlandi
Objects of debate, during the last episode of Wild Mossthis is precisely the case of the disappearance of Emanuela Orlandi, to whom Netflix has recently dedicated a docu-series, Vatican Girl. This is one of the most controversial news stories in Italian history, unsolved for the past 30 years, on which Fedez felt the need to irony. Speaking of the series, released on the streaming platform in October 2022, the rapper attempted to make listeners and his guest laugh – Gianluigi Nuzzi – with a joke that, however, only made him laugh. “First of all, can we say? They haven’t found it,” said Fedez, joking on the fact that, in this case, the series finale can easily be spoiled. And immediately burst into a greasy laugh.
A joke that created quite a lot embarrassment in the present. Who was watching the video podcast could not help but notice the looks incredulous by Luis Sal and – above all – by Gianluigi Nuzzi. The journalist and host of Fourth Degree, banned by such an out of place sentence, commented very seriously: “This is black humor. Black humor is starkly antithetical to a journalist”. And Luis Sal added, addressing the journalist: “He has to keep a poker face right now”. However, their embarrassment did not affect Fedez, who continued undaunted laughing at his own joke, adding, “Sorry, it made me laugh too much.” There controversy already goes crazy on social media, where the rapper was immediately inundated with indignant comments from users. There are even those who argue that Clare Ferragniclose to her debut as presenter of Sanremo, must intervene to remedy her husband’s embarrassment.
