The countdown to New Year’s Eve 2026 has begun in Piazza Duomo in Catania, an event promoted by the Municipality of Catania. The city is preparing to welcome the new year with an evening of entertainment and music. The event is organized by the municipal administration with production by the Puntoeacapo Srl agency of Nuccio La Ferlita. The evening will be hosted by Ruggero Sardo, supported by Desirèe Ferlito, journalist and anchor woman of Tg Sicilia on Antenna Sicilia. The program includes a heterogeneous artistic line-up: Delia, a young voice from Catania who emerged from X Factor; Marina Rei; Zapato; Kaballà with I Beddi; Indigo color. Closing the evening will be Ghali, one of the main exponents of the Italian urban scene. There will also be a DJ set from Radio Studio Centrale, with Alex Spagnuolo and Giovanni Nicastro, who will accompany the audience until late at night. The show will begin at 8.30 pm in Piazza Duomo and will also be broadcast on the big screen in Piazza Università.
