A joy made even greater by the story of the future mother, Virginia, the daughter Rosanna Banfi had with her husband Fabio Leoni. «Virginia discovered she was experiencing early menopause at twenty-seven» says the actress. A discovery that, however, did not stop the desire for motherhood. «She began a complicated journey of medically assisted procreation» he adds. Revealing that, after two failed attempts, “the third time she got pregnant.”

Joy which however is accompanied by the worries of the case. «The risks are many» Rosanna says without mincing words. «We still don’t believe it, not even my father Lino wants to delude himself».
But the stork is already flying and “Virginia is determined” she continues. Revealing that, while waiting to finish the first trimester, the most delicate one during pregnancy, the future mother “stays in bed”. Then, she will finally be able to share her joy with everyone.
«I am happy» says Rosanna Banfi again. That she doesn’t hide her state of mind even though, for the moment, she has abstained from the typical shopping of grandparents. «What if I bought something? Nothing, not even a pacifier or a bib for good luck». And this will surely be the same joy felt by Lino Banfi. «I hope that my mother Lucia, who recently passed away, will watch over her beloved granddaughter from up there» adds the actress. And who knows, maybe this baby on the way won’t be able to make her great-grandfather Lino Banfi smile again too, who never got over the pain of losing her Lucia.
