Giulia Tramontano would have turned 30 today, stabbed to death by her partner Alessandro Impagnatiello on May 27 last year, while she was seven months pregnant. On her birthday, which would have been her first as her mother, her sister Chiara di lei, remembers her with a poignant post on her social profiles.

The next stages of the process
For the femicide of Giulia Tramontano, her partner Alessandro Impagnatello is on trial before the Court of Assizes of Milan, accused of voluntary homicide, aggravated by premeditation. The next hearing will be held on May 23rd, when the last prosecution witnesses will be heard, then, on May 27th, exactly one year after the murder which took place in the couple’s apartment in Senago, Impagnatiello himself will be questioned in the courtroom, while on June 10th it will be the turn of the defense witnesses.
