4 million euro hole and revenues halved, companies at risk

Chiara Ferragni now he is experiencing the crisis first-hand. The hole in the accounts of his Fenice srl would be around 4 million euros, reports Il Messaggero. A loss that calls into question the continuity of the business and that presents the entrepreneur with a choice, who has never been in such difficulty with her companies which have now become multinationals. The possibility is to foresee one recapitalization of 5-6 millionwith the prospect of being forced to open up the capital to new partners and therefore remove Ferragni’s percentage from his own company.

The collapse of revenues

After the Pandoro gate, Fenice srl’s revenues “dropped by 40%”. Ferragni is reportedly looking for partners for Fenice. In financial circles, various theses have recently continued to circulate in order to stabilize Chiara Ferragni’s corporate empire. The 2023 financial year should record a turnover that dropped to 7-8 million, half of the turnover of the previous year (14.2 million with a profit of 3.4 million) in consideration of the dissolution of the commercial agreements which were a fortnight and now they have halved.

Consumer protests

Ferragni also continues to be pressed by consumer associations. Codacons, the Association of Users of Radio and Television Services and Adusbef are ready for «a new collective action aimed – on the basis of the sentence of the Court of Turin which ascertains the offenses committed by Balocco – to ensure that the approximately 290 thousand consumers who purchased the Pink Christmas pandoro obtain the refund of 5.69 euros, equal to the difference between the cost of the traditional Balocco pandoro and the Ferragni branded one”. Doing a quick calculation, the figure is approximately 1 million and 650 thousand euros.
