At the beginning of his career the young man finds himself persecuted by a woman named Martha, played by actress Jessica Gunning.
The series consists of seven episodes and is directed by Weronika Tofilska. Baby Reindeer is the disturbing tale of what really happened to comedian Richard Gadd upon his arrival in London. Gadd, on the occasion of the show presented at the Edinburgh Fringe in 2019 for which he won two awards, told his story as if it were similar to a horror.

Gadd said he reported the incident to the police, but was not believed, just like what happens to the character of Donny.
