Originally from Genoa, Giorgio is a commander who operates in the port of his city: “I am at the helm of a boat that brings supplies to the oil tankers, but also anything else they may need”, he explains to Amadeus. Then, together with Stefania, he says that he recently bought something with a mortgage, but that he waited for the outcome of the Affari Tui game before deciding how to furnish the house, perhaps confident that he could count on a budget extra “donated” from the program coffers.

At that point the “Doctor” tried to tempt them with a super offer of 65 thousand euros, also mindful of the various competitors of the recent past who preferred to settle for a lower but safe figure on the gong rather than chasing the bang (often ending up with eat your hands).

Giorgio and Stefania, however, chose to throw their hearts over the obstacle and made a courageous decision, namely to go all the way and reveal the contents of their package. “65 thousand is a huge sum, if we were at home I would say “let’s take it” without hesitation. But now that I’m here I would move forward: because 65 thousand euros help you, but 200 thousand euros will change your life”, was Giorgia’s reasoning aloud , fully supported by Stefania: “Let’s do as we have always done, all or nothing“, was the conclusion of the young woman.
And they were right to refuse the Doctor’s offer, because their choice turned out to be a winning one: 200 thousand euros were the right reward for their audacity and determination.
