Those who manage to enter the palace, those who have seen them, those who are familiar with them swear that Kate and William they are “going through hell”. These are the words of the stylist, and confidante of Kate Middleton and Prince William, Amaia Arrieta. She actually used the metaphor of hell to explain the ordeal to which the whole family is subjected due to the oncological treatments to which Kate is undergoing.
Arrieta, who has worked as a stylist for the Prince and Princess of Wales’ three children since Prince George was an infant, and shared updated news about the couple publicly.
“I’m heartbroken right now, I think they’re going through hell, I hope they recover. It’s a very personal thing,” Arrieta told the Telegraph, refraining from revealing any information about the couple until now.

It’s not surprising why Arrieta decided to talk about Kate. At the moment we only know that she is undergoing chemotherapy and there are fears that the stylist’s words could indicate a more serious health condition.
Arrieta is close to the royal family: she said she works closely with the children’s current nanny, Maria Borrallo, to dress Kate and William’s children.

Kate is 42 years old and received a cancer diagnosis in March. On January 16th, at the London clinic, she underwent abdominal surgery after which a tumor was discovered. However, it is not clear where the cancer that affected the Duchess of Cambridge is located. The weekly Gente revealed that the surgical operation would have been performed by expert Italian hands: by a team from the Roman Agostino Gemelli polyclinic. The ones who operated on Kate could have been expert and highly sought-after surgeons such as Sergio Alfieri and Giovanni Scambia, famous for their great expertise in internal and abdominal medicine, the former, and oncology the latter. No confirmations have come from the hospital, but no denials either. When Kate underwent surgery, in order to understand the princess’s diagnosis, journalists rushed to ask Professor Scambia, of Gemelli, for clarification, who commented: “Since the abdominal area is involved, it could be a tumor of the intestine or genital system.” .
Middleton decided to share her diagnosis with the world on March 22, before her three children stopped attending school for the Easter holidays. In a video message shot while she appears sitting on a bench, she explained that she is ill and that she feels close to people who are in the same situation as cancer patients.

Catherine isn’t the only royal dealing with health issues: King Charles, 75, revealed his cancer diagnosis in February and Sarah Ferguson, the Duchess of York, is battling aggressive skin cancer.
