The 2026 cycling season promises to be particularly rich and intense with many events on the calendar: ten months full of events await us, all to be followed with great attention. Between Grand Tours, Monument Classics, World Championships, European Championships and minor races It’s going to be really fun.
It will start at the end of January with le gare in Australia: Tour Down Under from January 20 to 25, followed seven days later by the Cadel Evans Great Ocean Road Race. The circuit will then come to life continuously a month later: from 16 to 22 February space for the UAE Tourthe now traditional Tour of the United Arab Emirates. On February 28th there will be the always prestigious Omloop Het Niuewsblad in Belgium. The Italian calendar will open on March 4th with the classic Laigueglia Trophyfollowed three days later by Strade Bianche (7 March) and then from Tirreno-Adriatico (9-15 March), always simultaneously with the Paris-Nice (8-15 March).
Milan-Sanremo is scheduled for March 21st and thus the long spring of Monument Classics will begin: Tour of Flanders on April 5, Paris-Roubaix on April 12, Liège-Bastogne-Liège on April 26. Between the Hell of the North and the Doyenne there will be room forAmstel Gold Race (19 aprile). Whoever wants to be ready for the Tour of Italy will have a wide choice with Tour of the Alps (20-24 April) and Tour of Romandie (28 April-3 May). The Corsa Rosa will take place from 8 to 31 May.
There will be a month before the Tour de France (4-26 July)preceded as always by the Tour of the Dauphiné, the Tour of Switzerland and National Championships. The Europeans will take place in Slovenia from 3 to 7 Octoberwhile the Vuelta di Spagna will take place from 22 August to 13 September.
The World Championships are confirmed at the end of September: from 20 to 27 September in Montreal (Canada). Il Tour of Lombardy it will be the last Classic Monumento (10 October) and will be surrounded by various Italian events (Giro dell’Emilia, Coppa Bernocchi, Tre Valli Varesine, Coppa Agostoni, Giro del Veneto).
