Shifting credits and bonuses on vaccination training

Wednesday 22 May 2024

Resolutions 5/24 and 6/24 have been published on the Agenas website, regarding the transfer of training credits and bonuses on vaccination training.

There resolution 6/24 replaces that of last December 8 and establishes that the training credits for the three-year period 2020-2022 can be acquired until 31/12/2023. Furthermore, the expiry date for moving training credits from the current three-year period to the 2020-2022 three-year period is postponed from 06/30/2024 to 12/31/2025. It will be possible to move the training credits also relating to courses with an “event end date” in 2024 as long as these ECMs are obtained by the end of 2023.

Please note that it is mandatory in any case to complete the credit requirements for the three-year period 2023-2025, in order not to find themselves at risk in 2026, when doctors who have not collected at least 70% of the mandatory ECM credits will find themselves at risk with your insurance coverage in the event of litigation.

There resolution 5/24 instead establishes to “attribute to health professionals that doctors who accumulate training credits in the field of vaccines and vaccination strategies in the current three-year period will be entitled to a bonus in the next three-year period equal to a maximum of 10 credits.

Attached is resolution 5/24.
