Fede Academy: Federica Pellegrini and Matteo Giunta a Livigno engaged with the talents of tomorrow. TheAquagranda returns to host the event hosted by Federica Pellegrini and Matteo Giunta, dedicated to the swimmers of the future. It is truly a welcome return, that of the Fede Academy in the aisles of theAquagrandail Olympic Training Center in Livignohome, among other things, to a modern Olympic-sized pool that is very familiar to hundreds of swimmers from all over the world.

After seeing athletes of all nationalities choose the pools of the Livigno facility to best prepare for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, now it is the turn of the champions of tomorrow, the young prospects who have chosen to entrust their technical improvement to the experience and expertise of an exceptional couple, made up of Federica Pellegrini and Matteo Giunta.

Federica Pellegrini: the new life in the pool

«The Fede Academy is a well-rounded project – commented Giunta – which aims to transmit our skills to the swimmers of tomorrow, through a comprehensive approach, capable of balancing all the fundamental elements of the growth of a young athlete. It means technique, of course, but not only that. It also means providing them with the tools to live the locker room in the right way, to balance sport and other activities, including studying, and to create a virtuous work and training environment, which they can take with them during the seasons to come. And Livigno and Aquagranda are the perfect place to do it in peace».

These are the words of the federal coach, capable during his career of guiding numerous athletes towards important international goals. An attitude to attention to detail and the growth of young people that also reflects the values of the entire Livigno community, always linked to sport and the pursuit of excellence.

A relationship of deep identity, which is also reflected in the long collaboration established over the years between Livigno and Federica Pellegrini: “Cultivating the relationship with young swimmers is always a source of pride and emotion for me, especially now. Sport has an extraordinary educational value, which goes well beyond the physical, technical and disciplinary: it is truly a common ground, in which to refine one’s personal qualities and the ability to relate them to those of others. Being able to summarize everything I have learned in so many years of swimming and translate it for the benefit of the boys and girls who are starting their journey is truly a great feeling, and doing it in a magnificent place, like Livigno, which is like a second home, is truly priceless”.

Many courses are available to users, from the “Kids Junior” category to the new 2024 one, with the second week of September dedicated entirely to the Open, athletes aged eighteen and over. Six weeks of work and fun, completely sold out and with a special focus on the inclusion of young people with disabilities in the different groups.

A success in participation and sport, made possible by the vision of Pellegrini and Giunta, and by the support of numerous partners, starting with Livigno and Aquagranda, as well as Caffè Vergnano, the technical sponsor Nike Swim and HDI Assicurazioni.
