A ceremony intended for a few close friends, above all her mother Susan Sarandon and actor Tim Robbins, who was like a father to her (the two Hollywood stars were together for 23 years). Eva Amurri couldn’t have asked for anything better from life if not meet a man like the chef Ian Hock, who courted her for a long time and won her over with extreme sweetness (and patience).

The couple read their wedding vows in front of only 40 guests in a ceremony inspired by the “French garden party”: the calm tones of nature and delicate flowers such as chamomile decorated the location. “We wanted to write our love letters to each other to read as promises, which was so special to us,” she explained. We also didn’t have any wedding parties other than the kids, and it was perfect. The Major walked me down the aisle, and it was an experience I will never forget.”
The sensual (and criticized) bride’s dress
Eva Amurri wanted everything to be perfect, as every bride would wish on her most beautiful day. And this included, of course, the choice of dress: the actress walked down the aisle to the tune of Can’t Help Falling in Love wearing a column dress with strapless corset and billowing skirt (removable), purchased at Bridal Reflections in New York City and signed by Kim Kassas. “I love its vintage look and how ultra-feminine it is without being overly puffy. I wanted to feel sexy but elegant, and I think her dress strikes the perfect balance,” she commented.
She was a radiant bride and yet There was no shortage of criticism on social media. Some people thought the dress’s neckline was too generous for a décolleté like hers, some people thundered against the transparent inserts, some even called it ridiculous and hideous and finally some people thought it was absolutely unsuitable for a 40 year old bride. The Love Story Between Eva Amurri and Ian Hock
For the daughter of Susan Sarandon and Tim Robbins, this was the second marriage. Until 2020, Eva Amurri was married to Kyle Martino. A story that lasted eight years before they decided to separate their lives after the birth of their three children Marlowe Mae, Major James and Mateo Antoni.
Just as she was going through a divorce from her ex-husband and was pregnant with her latest child, Amurri met Hocks. She was having dinner in the restaurant where she worked as a chef and something clicked. It wasn’t an easy time but he, with great sweetness and patience, was able to conquer her heart.
