Sandro Brini leaves us, to embrace his daughter Maria Felicia in heaven – Luciano Pignataro Wine Blog

by Giulia Cannada Bartoli

Not even three years have passed since the death of our beloved daughter Maria Felicia, the young Lady of Falerno, that a few minutes ago we received the news of the death of Alessandro Brini, known to all as Sandro’s Dad. We knew that her pain had made him ill, but we weren’t ready for her to go either.

The Vineyard where it all began

It all began with Him: in 1995 after having purchased and restored the Casolare Rosa, he planted the first vineyard of Aglianico and Piedirosso, where his grandparents had worked as settlers. Since the beginning of Masseria Felicia’s adventure with the first Falerno del Massico in 2000, he has always been at Felicia’s side, with her from morning to night in the vineyard and in the cellar. After the loss of his daughter, a pain that no parent should feel, he found the strength, with the help of his son-in-law Fabrizio and his wife Pina, to continue Felicia’s dream: producing Falerno wine.

We will miss you Dad Sandro. We are close to Mamma Pina, Fabrizio and her beloved granddaughter Alice.

The funeral will be held tomorrow, Saturday 8 June in the Church of Carano (Sessa Aurunca Ce)
