The great scandal of the first part of this new edition of The Island of the Famous it is without a doubt the expulsion of Francesco Benigno. The actor was disqualified and quickly removed from Honduras. Sent home against his wishes, he began to realize social media against everything and everyonethe. Mediaset chose not to encourage him but, in the end, approved the broadcast of the video which led to his immediate disqualification.

Vladimir Luxuria thus introduced the film by Francesco Benigno, recalling how the production had preferred not to show all this to the public. A form of protection of the dignity of the reality show and, at the same time, of that of the person concerned.
Benigno himself, however, harshly contested this decision. He thus chose to place it before the reality of the facts and, above all, the judgment of the spectators. The first images show it very aggressive towards Artur.
She accuses him of doing nothing, just criticizing others and talking about them behind their backs. She provokes him and the other castaway, claiming to be more polite, tries to resist. The two remain at a distance but it is clear how the tension is mounting.
“Mister physicist who always sleeps talks behind your back. They come and tell me. In Sicily, people like you are worth it… they’re called quacquaraquà. If young people followed in your footsteps, they would be a**holes. You’re worthless and you want to tell people what to do. And you rub yourself with someone who has made his career, because alone you are worth less than a plant”.
A bit of movement is added to the words, which leads Benigno to get closer to Artur, while the others look on in astonishment and embarrassment. Nothing violent seems to happen, at least in gestures, but in words something happens: “As soon as they tell me that you do this gesture again behind your back, I’ll come and give you the answers. You don’t have to tell me ‘go, go, go’. I go wherever I want.”
You can understand how Benigno is now in a spiral and, unfortunately, a few seconds later here is a violent gesture to be condemned. The actor decides to come into close contact with Artur, who places his hand in front of his face, which the man violently moves.
The clash with Artur
It is clear who started this discussion, which then turned into something else entirely. It is surprising that no one intervened to prevent what was easily foreseeable. The very heated tones of Francesco Benigno brought the hand in front of his face. The small push that the actor was looking for in order to finally explode, feeling in his heart that he was on the side of reason.
Artur pushes him away and Benigno’s response It’s like a bar fight. Hands around the neck and head to head. Another defensive push from Artur, who doesn’t react by attacking, on the contrary. In this scenario, the only one to intervene is Danielewho also agrees to place himself between the two physically, actually risking it.
However, Benigno is not satisfied. First he walks away and then grab a stick, loading a shot that luckily doesn’t go off: “Now I’ll give it to him.” The film stops and Luxuria condemns everything that has been shown, cutting it short and underlining how extra minutes should not be spent on certain things, beyond what is necessary.
Island of the Famous, the eliminated on April 29th
Once the televoting is closed, the first to escape is Joe Bastianich. The chef and judge deeply thanks the public and asks for their help to avoid other similar experiences, with the risk of elimination.
Finally, Sonny and Daniele remain head to head. The first receives a visit from his mother, together with Edoardo and Alvina. In the end, however, he will return home with his mother. In fact, by just one percentage point, Daniele has the upper hand. Sonny eliminated in the April 29 episode of The Island of the Famous.
