Following the abdication of her grandfather Juan Carlos in 2014, she officially became heir to the throne, taking the title Princess of Asturias.

Leonor began carrying out her public commitments at a very young age, at just 13 years old, in 2018, and in the same year she gave her first public speech. The first event she attended alone dates back to 2021 and last year, on his eighteenth birthday, he swore loyalty to the Iberian constitution before the Cortesobtaining the collar of the order of Charles III.

Eleonora wore a sober white suit, very similar to the one her mother wore on the occasion of her official engagement, deciding to keep her long ash blonde hair pulled back in a low ponytail, using light and dignified makeup .

With a firm voice and the attitude of a ruler, the newly eighteen-year-old proved to be equal to the situation and not at all intimidated by the hundreds of people around her. A behavior that certainly made her parents Felipe and Letizia proud as they observed her carefully during the ceremony.
