This is a variant of the Task Scam scam, which tries to steal sensitive information of the user by trying to convince him of easy earnings. From Android, for example, just launch the WhatsApp app, press the three dots icon at the top right, select the “Settings” item, move to the “Privacy” tab and take a look at the “Groups” option .
