Unicredit: the agreement for reduced working hours

From the next one first of July all employees of Unicredit they will have a reduced working hours and will consequently be able to end their work shifts early. This is thanks to the agreement that was reached by the unions and the credit institution, with working hours being reduced to be precise and following what was established by the new national collective agreement to 37 hours per week.

The first person to speak about this significant change was the national secretary of the Fabi Giuliano Xausa. These are some of his statements: “The agreement in Unicredit on the reduction of working hours for equal pay is very important because it is among the first in the sector and will consequently also lead the way for other banks. As for the Fabi it remains essential that on the one hand the remuneration is objectively and truly usable by all colleagues and that on the other it is defined as soon as possible with Abi the impact of the reduction for all colleagues working part-time“. For bankers with a mixed schedule, the short week may sometimes be 36 hours and other times 37 hours and 30 minutes. As regards all Unicredit branches present in Italy, the cash register will therefore be available to customers for 6 hours and 25 minutes from Monday to Thursday and for 6 hours and 10 minutes Fridays.

The first four days of the week the opening hours will be from 8.20am to 12.45pm and from 2.30pm to 4.30pm, while on Fridays from 8.20am to 1pm and from 2.30pm to 4.30pm. In the event of cash balancing, the branches are open in the afternoon 6 hours and 30 minutes from Monday to Thursday and for 6 hours and 15 minutes Friday. Below are the opening times: Monday to Thursday from 8.20am to 1.20pm and from 2.30pm to 4pm and Friday from 8.20am to 1.30pm and from 2.30pm to 3.45pm. For employees, working hours will be seven and a half hours every day, with the exception of Friday which will be 7 hours.
