Inflation is moderate, but in Olbia it is higher

The weight of inflation on the domestic economy in Olbia is higher than the regional average: Sardinian record of increases in the cost of living. L’National Consumers Union has drawn up the ranking of the most expensive cities and regions in Italy. The data on the increase in the cost of living are those provided byIstat and are related to the month of April 2024. The high recorded prices position Olbia in 20th place in the national ranking with 282 euros more in annual expenditure. Following is Sassari, 23rd, with 262 euros, while the Sardinian capital is in 18th place with an annual increase of 291 euros per family.

Sardinia is tenth

The region, in the national ranking, is positioned at tenth place. The recorded inflation corresponds to 0.8% and marks an annual growth in the average expenditure of each family 155 euros. The increase in costs does not leave anyone indifferent, but at a regional level, the figure remains lower than national averagewhich stands at 188 euros.

At the extremes of the ranking

It is the one who suffers the most Veneto, the most expensive region in Italywhere every family spends a year 324 euros more. VeniceInstead, leads the ranking of the most expensive cities: here the additional expense per family is 501 euros nod. The only regions in deflation I am Abruzzo, Molise and Valle d’Aosta which, respectively, recorded -0.2%, -0.3% and -0.9%. These figures translate to 43, 62 and 234 euros less to be spent during the year. The cities in deflation, however, are Aosta (-0.9%), Imperia (-0.6%) and Caserta (-0.5%) where you save respectively 234, 134 and 107 euros per year.
