Esselunga has reported the voluntary recall by the manufacturer of a batch of high quality pasteurized partially skimmed and whole fresh milk under its own brand and of fresh pasteurized partially skimmed milk under the Latte Pavilat brand. The reason indicated on the recall notices is reporting of an abnormal taste. The product in question is sold in 500 ml and 1 liter PET bottles with an expiry date of 05/09/2024, corresponding to the production batch.

The Latteria Soresina Società Cooperativa Agricola company produced the recalled fresh milk. The production plant is located in via Dei Mille 13/17, in Soresina, in the province of Cremona (identification mark IT 03 171 CE).
