Audi had unveiled the restyling of the Q8 and Q7 at the end of September 2023 and at the end of January 2024 respectively. Now, the car manufacturer has decided to expand the range of these models with the introduction of the Plug-in versions. New Audi Q7 and Audi Q8 TFSI and quattro will reach Italian dealerships during the month of June with prices starting from, respectively, 82,900 euros and 98,150 euros.
MORE POWER AND AUTONOMY
Audi Q7 and Q8 can count on a powertrain made up of a three-litre six-cylinder engine with 250 kW (340 hp) of power combined with a 130 kW (177 hp) electric unit. There are two power levels with which this powertrain is offered. On Audi Q7/Q8 55 TFSI and quattro it offers a system power of 290 kW (394 hp) with a torque of 600 Nm. In terms of performance, both models accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.7 seconds. The top speed is electronically limited to 240 km/h. In electric mode only, you can reach 135 km/h.
The electric unit is powered by a battery with one capacity of 25.9 kWh (22 kWh usable) which allows an autonomy of 85 km according to the WLTP cycle. The battery can be recharged in alternating current up to a power of 7.4 kW.
Then there is the version 60 TFSI and four which can count on system power of 360 kW (490 hp) with a torque of 700 Nm. The maximum speed does not change but it takes 5 seconds to go from 0 to 100 km/h. The battery is also the same, as is the electric range. New Audi Q7/Q8 Plug-in can also count on different driving modes designed to optimize overall efficiency and therefore consumption. The plug-in SUVs also have a new energy recovery system which allows them to reach powers of 80 kW during braking phases.
For the rest, the two models can count on all the innovations that the house of the 4 rings had introduced with the restyling. Options include Matrix LED headlights, rear wheel steering, air suspension (standard on 60 TFSI models) and the electromechanical roll stabilization system.
