The arrival on the Italian market of MG4 Electric it represented a great little earthquake which then, over time, diminished a bit, at least in terms of “chatter”. Now, however, we are once again fiercely talking about the car thanks to the arrival of the new 2024 car incentives, active since May.
To understand the hype that the model is causing, it is enough to know that with the scrapping of a very polluting vehicle (Euro 0, 1 or 2) and ISEE below 30,000 euros, a new MG4 Standard can be had for less than 12,000 euros, in short, at a lower figure than that required for a Fiat Panda. Thanks to an MG advantage of 1,200 euros, a special promo of 1,800 euros currently active and an extra MG incentive on scrapping of 2,000 euros, the MG4 Standard with 51 kWh battery costs list price 25,790 euros. From this price you must then subtract the value of the incentive based on what you can (or cannot) scrap and your ISEE. As we well know, from the month of May it is possible to obtain one price reduction up to over 13,000 euros with the right requirements. If, however, you have nothing to scrap, the discount is 7,500 euros with a low ISEE, 6,000 euros with an ISEE above 30,000 euros.
We remind you that the MG4 Standard is built on the MSP platform, features a 51 kWh battery and promises up to 350 km of autonomy. It can charge in DC up to 88 kW and features a 125 kW/168 HP rear motor with 250 Nm of torque. An extremely interesting model, quite compact in size: the length, in fact, does not exceed 4.28 metres.
