There are several appointments between readers, publishers and authors, literary meetings, readings, stories and presentations that, also this week, will animate different locations in Como and its province.
Tuesday 2nd July, at 9pma I sing, at the Municipal Library in via Meda 40, evening Incipit. Summer reading suggestionsedited by Torriani Library of Canzo, Volta Street Bookshop of Erba and the Municipal Library of Canzo.
Wednesday, July 3, atlle 19at the Mara Hutfor the fourth edition of Open Air Notes – Festival of books, authors and meetings organized by The library in via Volta in Erba, Franz Rossi e Bobo Pernettazwill present their book Count from the mountains. Stories from the mountains of Aosta and musical interludespublished by BoMeCo Edizioni. Free admission.
Thursday 4th July, at 6.30pminside the Como City of Music Festival, in the park of Villa of Grumellothe journalist and writer Maurizio Pratelli presents his first novel The Pop Farmpublished by Ultra Novel. With him, Mauro Ermanno Giovanardi and Marco Carusino of the group La Crus, on stage at the Arena on July 10th. Free admission. Limited capacity. In case of bad weather, the event will be held inside the Villa.
Always at 6.30pm, in the garden of Villa Bernasconi in Cernobbio, the book presentation will take place Sitting Upside Down. Words from a World Upside Downedited by Marina Girola, with dance theatre performances by Camilla Viscito and Marina Girola. Meeting organized by Villa San Benedetto Menni with the patronage of the Municipality of Cernobbio. Free admission. In case of bad weather the event will be postponed.
Saturday 6th July, from 4pm, at Ul Cartulée in via Libertà 29 in Turate, Adele Ross will present his book entitled Fall into the PastThe author will meet readers for a book signing and to chat about writing, books, and time travel.
At 5pm, at the The Crew Library of viale Lecco 83 in Como, the author Franco Saba, together with Ambra Garancini of the Iubilantes association, will present her book entitled My travel notes, published by IsolaPalma and will be available for signing. Free admission with reservations appreciated by clicking here.
At 18a latheat the headquarters of the Cultural Association Via de Benzi 17, Cocco & Magella present the new book Murder at the Lighthouse. The Lake Como Crimes published by Marsilio. In collaboration with the Torriani Bookshop in Canzo.
