ClairvauxJuly 1, 2024 – Not in one voice, a review of fiction, music, philosophy, poetry and arts, continues its itinerant journey in the Marche region. In its 15th edition, illustrious guests from the national and international cultural scene will discuss the theme of Miracles, always focusing on the dialogue between genders. Miracles cancel the distance between desire and the impossible, they create passages, they prepare the imminence of a free good that cannot be bought and accumulated. Miracles shed light in dark times, teach foresight, happen when we escape relationships of force and domination. Miracles are outside the law: destiny they share with love and its wonderful exceptions.
The protagonist of the fifth meeting is the famous writer Barbara Albertiwho on Thursday 4th July at 9.15pm in Chiaravalle, in the central Piazza Risorgimento, presents his latest literary work entitled Tremble, tremble. The witches are back.

«The evil stupidity of social media and the acts of war make us believe that we are all tamed, that ugliness has eaten the world. Floor! Wherever you turn, you discover the dissidence of the marvelous. Anarchist masterpieces are born in cinema, literature, music, painting and humanistic studies, and scientific research is luminous. In this book I didn’t want to count the living, but the witches. The disobedient ones. And the disobedient. Witches aren’t just women. There are also witches, there are all genders, including those who don’t yet know exactly which gender they want to belong to, or invent a new one. If I am so uninformed and know so many, how many are there around? People who don’t obey, who work for beauty. And not in the catacombs, they publish books, make films, study the sciences, go on TV and are read, listened to, seen and followed. A fabric parallel to the monstrous, which disavows and fights the mortuary and censorious fury of politics and history.”

Barbara Alberti was born in Umbria and lives in Rome, where she graduated in philosophy. For a long time she was a famous editor of the letters column Friend, is a writer, journalist and screenwriter, author of novels, essays and fantastic biographies. She is also involved in the cinematographic field, she has signed the screenplays of films such as The night porter Of Liliana Cavani (1974) e Melissa P. Of Luca Guadagnino (2005). Among his books Gospel According to Mary (1978, republished in 2007 by Castelvecchi). He hosted the program on Radio 24 for years The lighthouse keeperwhich is also the title of his book published by Imprimatur in 2013. With the publishing house Nottetempo he published Train readings, Love is the cruelest month and, in 2016, Don’t sell me out, mom!
