Leavened at the Turin International Book Fair

On Sunday 12 May, on the occasion of the thirty-sixth edition of the Turin International Book Fair, at the Centrale Nuvola Lavazza space and throughout the day, there will be Leavened, a baking day with a high level of goodness which will see the presence of the most accredited master bakers of the Piedmontese capital and their exclusive creations. This is a completely new event, hosted inside the former power plant built in 1897 in the Aurora district, a few minutes from the historic center of Turin, where the protagonists will be sweet and savory leavened products.

On the occasion of this marathon based on yeast and flour you will be able to taste breads, pizzas, focaccias, brioches and viennoserie proposed by 10 great master bakers of the city. From 10.30am to 8pm, white art lovers will be able – after accreditation on the tobevents.it website – to have a late morning brunch, or a lunch based on a rich selection of leavened products, but also a snack with the best baked delicacies from the most accredited Savoy master bakers or choose to end the day in style with an aperitif based on a selected selection of baked products paired with a glass of wine or a cocktail.

But not just tastings because the bakery day scheduled for Sunday 12 May will also be animated by a rich schedule of events which includes talks and meetings with master bakers, journalists and industry experts.
