Authors for all tastes at BA Book, the Busto Arsizio book festival
Descriptive text here

It will be an intense May from a cultural point of view that is expected in Busto Arsizio. While waiting for the annual Fiber Art exhibition (which will be presented on Tuesday 23 April) from 12 to 19 May it will be the week of BA Book which involves the eight city bookstores, the eight publishing houses, the four cultural associations and the two libraries, the municipal one and the capitular one, sitting at the literature table led by Monica Giuffrida, as coordinator, e Carla Trotti of the chapter library which is the organizer of the festival.

The 2024 edition of BA Book, the Book and Publishing Festival, will be inaugurated on 12 May, which aims to represent a real tribute to books and the world of publishing in all its possible declinations: among the most significant names of the review, some excellent returns such as Aldo Cazzullo and Stefania Andreoli, faces (and pens) very well known as Carlo Cottarelli, Marina Di Guardo, Luca Bianchini, Serena Bortone, Daniele Bossari, and the actor Vinicio Marchioni.

Here is the program

Thirty-seven authors, thirty-one events dedicated to adults, 5 dedicated to children with workshops, two conferences and four collateral events will enliven the Bustocca week dedicated to literature and now in its fourth edition, presented this morning by the councilor Manuela Maffioli, together with all the protagonists of the sector active in the city.

From Friday 10th to Monday 20th May a BA Book infopoint will be set up in Piazza Vittorio Emanuele II for the distribution of free programs and books. Furthermore, an email address dedicated to BA Book will be active from today: [email protected]

As is now the tradition of cultural events in Busto, there will also be collateral events that will anticipate and postpone the presentations, in the style of what was done for the music and theater festivals. On Friday 10th and Saturday 11th May 5 reading points will be set up in various points of the city where you can stop and read a few pages of your favorite book or one of the books made available by the library and the Literature Table (Piazza Vittorio Emanuele II – BA Book info point, Via Montebello – portici), Via Milano – next to the Ubik bookshop, Via Gavinana – La Gilda comic shop, Via Bonsignori 7/d – space in front of the Emporium of Wonders)

From Sunday 12th to Sunday 19th, for every purchase of books presented at the Festival and while available stocks last, the exclusive BA Book bag will be given free.
